Arun Jaitley hits back at Congress says nation never been intolerant
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said political opponents must fight battles politically and not create issues out of non issues. He was reacting to the march being organised by Congress party from Parliament House to Rashtrapati Bhavan in protest against rising intolerance.
Speaking at the sidelines of a function, Mr Jaitley stressed that there is a peaceful atmosphere in the country and nation has never been intolerant.
The Finance Minister said eminent personalities should not return their awards as the awards are not given by the government and there is no intolerance in the nation.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala hit back at Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for his remarks on the Congress' march. Mr Surjewala alleged that it is only the BJP and its leaders who are spreading the culture of intolerance in the nation.
